Unfortunately a normal RegistryOption doesn't seem to have a way of including the help strings for its values in its own help text. RegistryOption.from_kwargs used to do so, but we want a real registry here, with the actual implementation as its value, not only a string identifier. As not listing the alternatives at all feels even worse than hardcoding them into the message, and as dynamically generating the help text just in this instance feels like an evil hack as well, we'll keep it this way for now, until a suitable improvement to the RegistryOption class gets implemented. This added verbosity should reduce confusion: while people might expect "authors" to be an actual list of authors, they should associate "handler" with some item of implementation. The term also aligns well with the "author_list_registry". In general, the word "list" was included as there might be an "author_format_handler" or similar in the future, e.g. to choose first name, given name, mail address, mail account name, mail domain name, or whatever. 4081.3.2	Provide --authors argument to log command. Provide --authors argument to log command. In some situations it might be useful what authorship to display in a log. This change introduces a new --authors switch, with possible values 'all', 'first' and 'committer'. Using this switch, user can override the choice made by the log format. On the implementation side in log.py, there is a new method LogFormatter.authors which does all the author selection stuff. Other methods, in derived classes in particular, delegate to that method to do the formatting. This ensures that the override from the comand line applies to all formats.
