Inline previous calls to fail[Unless|If]ExistsOnDisk and clearly
explain their aim.

(TestCaseWithMemoryTransport.failUnlessExistsOnDisk,
TestCaseWithMemoryTransport.failIfExistsOnDisk): Deleted. They
were more confusing than helpful.
