A Pyrex extension is about 5x faster than the fastest python code I could write.

Seems worth having after all.

You need the Dulwich Python module installed (or in PYTHONPATH) and a fairly

Installing bzr-git can be done by putting it into the ~/.bazaar/plugins

directory, and renaming its directory to "git".
